CLUB BMX RACING

What do you need to know for Club BMX Race Night?

First you will need to pre- register - you will need to check with your local club on how registration is processed, as well as for what day of the week is race day and the time the race starts - this information is usually posted on Social Media (Facebook or Instagram) - you will need to provide the following information when registering:

Rider Name

Rider Age & Category

Plate Number

You are at the track, now what? - check rider sheet!

When you arrive at the track you will need to check the ‘RIDER INFORMATION SHEET’, this will be posted before racing starts. You are checking to ensure that your information provided is correct, first check that you are listed on the Rider Information sheet, check you plate #, age, gender and class. If all of this is correct than you are ok to wait until the MOTOS are posted. IF, you notice any mistakes (even in the spelling of your name), please go to the registration desk (usually in the motto shed) and have you information corrected ASAP, failure to have information corrected will impact your RACE!

What to do once your Motos are posted?

Moto sheets are posted before racing starts - the Moto sheet will have the following information:

Rider Name - Age - Class (eg. Brande Terashita 44-49 Female Novice Cruiser)

Moto’s: Brande Terashita 3:5 18:2 32:1

This means that the rider is in Moto(race) 3 - lane 5, Moto (race) 18 - lane 2, Moto (race) 32 - lane 1, it is a best practice to take some masking or painters tape and a marker to write this information down and put on the frame of your bike.
