BMX Plate Numbers

Can you ride with any plate number? NO

The plate number that you race with is assigned, you cannot pick your own number. 

Your plate number is derived from the last 3 digits of your UCI Race License #, you will require the digital copy of your license before you can purchase a plate. The plates are for sale at the Moto sheds at most tracks, you are able to purchase the plate and numbers for the plate.  The plate usually will affix onto the handlebars of the bike with a few zip ties.

Plate & number colour combination are specified for the category in which you race:

o   Males Challenge/Masters: yellow plate, black numbers

o   Females Challenge/Masters: blue plate, white numbers

o   Cruiser: red plate, white numbers

Earn your plate – to earn a plate, you would compete in a National (Plate starts with ‘N”), Grands, Worlds etc., if this is the case you would WIN your plate number by finishing top in your category!
